Slightly viscose on pour and looking good for 4yrs aged since bottling. Mega hefty on flavour and beer. Coffee big, chocolate nice, bourbon strong.

Doing a 2018 tasting. KBS vs Bourbon County. First taste the BC had more chocolate and a bit more bourbon than the KBS. Will have to see after drinking both, stay toned.

Mmmmm breakfast stout! Te lang geen echt bier op. Goed zoet, brand in de keel, lekker moutig met een klap choco en coffee. Gewoon een top bier

Het weekend aftrappen (😉 Bas V. )met deze oude KBS. Subtiel in de bourbon, vol in de chocolade en koffie. Betere koffie dan morgenvroeg op het werk.

Believe the high IBU, slight ethanol on nose and palate. Uncharacteristic to get this much ethanol at this ABV.

Aged really nicely. Not syrupy which makes it very nice.
