Drinks more like a porter than a stout, very smooth. Wouldn't know by taste this is 16% ABV. Think age smoothed this out even more

More boozy with age, much of the characteristics seems to have diminished

Believe the high IBU, slight ethanol on nose and palate. Uncharacteristic to get this much ethanol at this ABV.

At 17%, hard to taste more then the heat. Cherries on nose. Maple on palette
