Stout - Imperial / Double Coffee

KBS gets its coffee fix in the very first variant to come from our beloved bourbon barrel-aged stout. Yes, KBS may already be brewed with coffee, but it gets some extra oomph when it’s aged on espresso beans after being removed from barrels. The result is a fresh and snappy coffee twist on our classic barrel-aged beer. Who says you can’t start your day with a barrel-aged stout?

Earlier | BottleSharing with Bear Brahms. Significant espresso presence and bourbon subtle underneath. Not better than the original, but a pleasant alternative. Bourbon could be stronger IMHO. But the perfect roasted base. Let it breathe, let it breathe!

Ik vind de espresso niet echt iets toevoegen. Je proeft 'm wel erg sterk. Strakke espresso bovenop de kbs. Caramel en droog kort bitter koffietje. Lekker maar niet beter dan regular kbs.
