Last one. This was my favorite year of KBS. Held up kinda sorta but it’s definitely seen better days.

I feel like I say this a lot with founders these days…it’s still good but not what I remember. Maybe it’s me? At least they made it very limited again. That’s a start.

Utopias Barrel-Aged 120 Minute IPA fogolini
Celebration! Go Lions! Pulled out a heavy hitter for the lions game. Surprisingly smooth for 17%. Tons of barrel on the nose and palate. Reminds me of founders doom but much better.

Not a huge pumpkin fan but this is pretty good. Sweet, nutmeg, cinnamon, maple, barrel. Clove? Goes down easy for the abv.

They can throw whatever adjuncts in it they want, but gone are the days of KBS being a great ba imperial stout. Lizard of koz was much better. Just another thin and uninspiring above average release. Year round release/selling the company ruined kbs.

I’ve had a ton of new/different beer’s since the first time I had this one but it’s aging just fine and is tasty. It’s just not as high on my list as it was 5 years ago. If founders ever brings it back it won’t be this good just like all their beer now.

Nice night for an imperial stout. Couple left so might as well make room for this year’s release. The only kbs that’s still legit imo.

Works surprisingly well. Sweet, malty, strong barrel presence, but not overwhelming. Boozy, but not overpowering.

Nice to see this in a 19.2. Solid but could be better. Seems like yesterday founders didn’t make hazy’s because they “don’t follow trends”. That was before the Spanish money💰🤑

Glad to finally try this. Happy founders brought it back. Lots of raspberry, not as much chocolate. Sweet, thin.
