Way too thin and lacking in flavor for Founder’s price point. I’ve enjoyed 7% coffee porters more than this. It’s fucking embarrassing.

Pours black with a thin tan head. Aroma is stong, malt, coffee, chocolate. Taste is sweet, oily, chocolate, bitter coffee, vanilla, touch of Bourbon, excellent

Deep rich chocolate fudge with a dry oatmeal center, up front bitter and earthy “espresso” coffee with subtlety Oak notes and less “bourbon” notes with a silky smooth finish. Only think keeping this from a 5/5 is the lack of a genuine bourbon note. 4.5/5

Nice bitter caramel espresso/coffee flavor on front. Some light vanilla hints follow. 12% is noticeable quickly, but subsides with all of the flavors. Some chocolate and caramel flavor on middle to a finish that has some bitter chocolate notes.
