This was a good beer in my opinion. The coffee/espresso overpowered everything, and did a good job at it. I got a very faint chocolate note as well....not enough to talk about though. Good one overall, but not one I will search out.

It said I can start my day with this. I’d rather end it with this, and fall into beautiful slumber. Might as well be drinking this from inside a roaster. Wake me up when the first shifter clocks in.

Opaque black w/ steady light-brown head & excellent lacing. Espresso nose & taste; add bourbon flavor. Rich, creamy malts balanced by bitter, piney hops; boozy, dry finish.

Pours a 1/4-inch beige head that quickly dissipates. Great coffee flavor. Creamy mouthfeel, but it's a little fumy.

Bold enough to hold up to the content with a looooong finish. Best dessert you could wish for. Coffee forward but a bittersweet cacao feel and flavor lingers.
