Stout - Imperial / Double Coffee

Variant of KBS KBS gets its coffee fix in the very first variant to come from our beloved bourbon barrel-aged stout. Yes, KBS may already be brewed with coffee, but it gets some extra oomph when it’s aged on espresso beans after being removed from barrels. The result is a fresh and snappy coffee twist on our classic barrel-aged beer. Who says you can’t start your day with a barrel-aged stout?

Similar to the regular KBS but slight coffee flavor. Not as much coffee taste as I would think with the label of espresso but still holds that smooth bourbon flavor

Huge coffee aroma. Mild barrel heat. Dark black in color. Minimal carbonation, full bodied. Taste : up front, the barrel character shines. Fades quick, and coffee and chocolate dominate. Coffee lingers on into a mild bitterness at the end. Full mouthfeel

Fab formeg

Coffee gives a bit of acidity to the base version. The barrel contributes in a balanced manner. The sip is quite agile just like the body, that's rather thin for a 12% ABV bomb.
