Good flavor. A little boozy for me but drinkable. Bottled date 09.09.21 Almost like a cask style.

In geur O zo sterk geurend naar donkere natte aarde en zwarte koffie. In slok o zoveel koffie voorop, daarna komt het bourbonvat door in de nasmaak, vleugje vanille mag geen naam hebben. Maar pff wat een strakke bitter van de koffie zeg!

Roasty and coffee flavour, not the freshest coffee. Spices, licorice, soft molasses. Smooth, roasty, biscuity, coffee flavour. Wonderful roasty profile. Heavy, serious. Oily, smooth. Alcohol present. Roasty, nutty, biscuity dry finish.

Mooie espresso in de neus. Veeeel koffie in het smaakpalet. In de afdronk bitterheid, bourbon en alcohol.

I have no idea when I acquired this and so no idea how long it’s been aging in my hands. Damn if this isn’t an amazing “last beer” at The Square. Even if I am STILL cleaning the basement and drinking it in the basement at 9:40 on a Thursday evening. 🤦♂️

Btl 09.10.21... Petit délice. Plus chocolat que expresso peut-être. Mais délice de douceur et fermeté de bout en bout.

Its very coffee foward. The barrel aging is barely there, but it tastes like drinking an espresso which I guess is what they were going for but it is a bit more than I expected.
