At 12% alcohol its rather strong, but WOW TALK ABOUT FLAVOR!!! Unlike other high alcohol Porters and Stouts this is one of those that the alcohol doesn't drown out the flavor.

The high ABV does bite a bit but the coffee and bourbon notes blend together perfectly.

For as amazing as founders is I can’t believe they push this so hard. I want to like it but I just can’t. In my opinion KBS is easily the worst beer that founders makes.
