Roasty and coffee flavour, not the freshest coffee. Spices, licorice, soft molasses. Smooth, roasty, biscuity, coffee flavour. Wonderful roasty profile. Heavy, serious. Oily, smooth. Alcohol present. Roasty, nutty, biscuity dry finish.

I’m sure to coffee lovers and espresso drinkers this is fantastic. If it tasted more like bourbon I could keep drinking it. My wife the coffee drinker doesn’t like it either. It’s too bad I love founders beers. Cheers to the next one.

This was the worst beer I had ever drunk… until I realised that the one I was drinking was released in 2020…

Well, some coffee flavour is there, but the whole thing is overshadowed by bitterness through out. The more you drink, the worse it gets. Did not finish the glass.
