A wild ride in a bottle form 50° to 70°. Coffee ever present like a cold brew at first & rounding out like a full bodied mocha espresso. As it warmed familiar bourbon notes dance on the tongue. It feels like a mouth full of Tootsie Rolls chased w/ bourbon

Not terrible. Might not really follow a central waters bourbon barleywine. It has the old coffee taste tonight

Packaged 03.12.20. A ok flavored stout. Think I was more blown away from the 2019 version. Still good stuff #nightcap

It’s getting better with age, but still falls just a bit short of the older iterations. It is still a very good beer. Better than most.

Well, it’s not bad, but pretty thin and a shell of its former self. In a blind tasting, I’m not sure that I would have recognized this as KBS. Will revisit.
