Fijne stout, hier duidelijk te zien, op eiken gelagerd. Mooie mix van koffie en chocolade. Klein zoetje. Duidelijk hout, bourbon en de daarbij aanwezige alcohol in de afdronk maar niet overheersend. Raad m voor breakfast niet aan. Avonds kan ie zeker.

Strong coffee flavor but no barrel aged flavors I enjoyed in previous years of KBS.

Kind of lacking IMO. Boozier & a tad harsher than what I've had before. Coffee & choc light on this bottle/batch. Bottled 2/28/20

This beer has really started to fall off for me, the coffee is so out of balance and there’s so little barrel it tastes like it was aged about 2 months.

I feel like I remember this being a little heavier and chewier. Also a little sweeter. Still a delicious beer.

Nothing special here. Obviously taste the coffee and even get the charred flavor at the end. But not dynamic and fairly flat.
