French Toast Bastard 2023 Manuel
Sweet, cinnamon, maple deliciousness… insanely delicious! Selectively smooth, hides the ABV by several percent. Delightful!

Utopias Barrel-Aged 120 Minute IPA Manuel
The dry hopping is apparent. Wish it wasn’t. Fortunately, it Gets a LOT better as it warms. Rich toffee when warmer, caramel bomb, with much less pronounced hop backbone. Rating is based on the last couple sips, not the first couple.

Had a little sediment in this one, seemed to take it down a notch. Also had with supper so that might have had an effect too. Either way it is still great!

Bottle Shop Series Highball Drifter Manuel
Good, very drinkable for 11%, just the flavors have become flat over the last year. Would recommend drinking fresh. Excited to try the 2022 release!!

A struggle to drink this after the imperial coconut by 608. This came off as harsh, bitter, and flat/one dimensional in comparison. Will hope for a better experience next time I have this.

Very tasty, a bit less sweet and slightly edgier flavors than the bourbon barrel aged version. But this is also newer. Will be interesting to try again in a couple years. Has a bit of a brandy-like flavor to me, but that might just be me.Excellent overall

World Wide Stout - Bourbon Barrel Aged (2019) Manuel
Sweet bourbon meets oak wit plenty of booze. Warming finish. Smooth, and elegant. A bit more balanced and refined than the 2021 utopias version. More classic bourbon barrel flavors as well. The only knock is the mouthfeel is a tiny bit thinner than ideal.
