A bit delicious, not really getting the “raisins” or “brown sugar” that others state… I guess I’m nose dead 🤣

Nearly 10 years in the cellar and still holds up. Let's go Celtics!

From last night. So good. Shockingly smooth for the huge ABV. Tons of dark fruit and brown sugar.

Raison D'Extra. One of my favorite beers. This may just be entering it's crest, but it's honestly hard to tell because it was still so good. Really intense raisin, prune, brown sugar with an alcohol whack. Heavy body with rich mouthfeel. Excellent.

How often to find a beer like this? A unique treat.

Cellar find by Nocturnem. Perfect to celebrate a Northern Hawk-Owl twitch! Cognac-level booziness and drunk off their ass raisins. But still smooth and a challenge at 5:30pm….thank goodness for that pretzel.

Stashed in the cellar here for 10 years. This is really delicious. Wicked boozy, but it has a smooth digestif thing going on which mellows it. I don’t feel like I should be drinking this before 6:00. But, did I mention Northern Hawk Owl?

This is drinkable but not sure it’s worth it at this abv. Plus I think I’ll hate it the more I drink this. It’s turned into this port-like drink and it’s almost too sweet

Another Brews Bros lost in the basement for 10 years. I was a little concerned with this one, but it’s pretty good.

Aged for nine years. Probably should have had it a bit sooner. Great taste upfront, but a little off in the after taste.

Aged beer and pizza for a little post-test celebration. This beer only gets better with age

Had to commemorate the night by opening something special when I got home. I've never had RDX aged this long before and it's gotten to the point of tasting like liquid jolly ranchers. I'm not at all mad about it.

LCI. Had high hopes this one would age well. A little let down with a thinner body, but still rewarded with some nice flavor notes of raisin, prune, light cardamom, and light chocolate. Mixed feelings... probably should've opened 3 years ago. 3.9

Bottled 22 Nov 2014. Sweet molasses and raisins along with other dark fruit flavours. Thin and not too boozy.
