Wow! That's really good. Not too syrup-y like some other bourbon barrel brews I've had. Very well balanced. Like all things in this universe should be.

Long day + 11.9% = giddiness. Don’t think cellaring this would benefit it. Great depth of coffee and bourbon. Only thing missing would be a cinnamon encrusted rim on the glass.

Keep the Founders Barrel Aged going although that 2014 KBS was something special. Now my favorite brown ale, smooth roasty coffee and bourbon flavor throughout.

OK, I am a traditionalist at heart, but enough is enough. I need to move away from the week Irish beers and move to a real Beer with real taste. Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
