Lots of coffee and chocolate notes. Light in mouthfeel, but sneaks up with the abv.

Great coffee brown but with only a touch of heat. Knocked on my glass asking if there was more barrel, no answer. Makes things a touch thin for what I'd expect.

This is just a solid beer, so much flavor, coffee forward, but more sweet than bitter, the barrel shines through at the end. Happiness.

That is a damn delightful beer! The bourbon is there, but not overpowering at all...really great interpretation of the style!

11.9% BBA Brown ale with Sumatra coffee. My favorite brown ale. Always great, so smooth. Thanks for the tip Arvin!

Late check-in from last night. Founders knows their coffee, and this delivers. Hot alcohol, but somehow, not much bourbon. Dry overused barrels? Brown ale body falters a step under the weight of the coffee. Probably could use some bottle aging.
