French Toast Bastard (Barrel Aged Series 2022)
This lives up to its name but I’m not sure *I* enjoy it. Lots of maple syrupy sweetness, that hint of butter, just over the top and exactly as described. Props, but for me, it’s a no, just too sweet.

🎃 #1 of 2022 Perfect color, light spice flavor, nothing overdone. Just a solid pumpkin beer way too early in the season, but needed to drink fresh. :)

I definitely get the cinnamon and some rich powdered dry cocoa…. But vanilla seems to be missing. I wanna experiment with a vanilla bean in this overnight and see what happens

Actually kinda disappointed in this one. Kinda boring and nothing that really is pumpkiny in my opinion. Dull, drinkable but meh.

The adjuncts are light, it’s a porter so remember it’s supposed to be a bit thin. Overall, quite pleasant, not too sweet, soft vanilla with just a hint of that maple.

Underground Mountain Brown (2020)
This is just a solid beer, so much flavor, coffee forward, but more sweet than bitter, the barrel shines through at the end. Happiness.
