Bottled in September 2022 and the sweet maple flavor is holding strong. 11.1% ABV is well hidden behind the sweetness. Not getting much of the Scottish ale or barrel flavor.

Bottled 9.19.22 Definitely has settled down in the cinnamon department. Much more balanced, Cinnamon Toast Crunch vibes with a nice malty base with a kick of bitterness. Overall a sweet pastry-esque experience. Clearing out the cellar!

12oz bottle. Rerate vs original 4.25 rating as it’s now an unbalanced cinnamon-dominant sweet mess…(when will brewers learn to cut back on cinnamon?! 🤨🙄). I added flavoring syrup to balance out the taste, then multiple bourbons to cut the sweetness.

Definitely nailed french toast, but like a lot of big breakfast beers there's a definite limit to how much I could drink in a sitting.

A Hibernian breakfast in a glass. French toast flavorprinf totally nailed, then add a scoop of vanilla ice cream, a dram of whiskey, and serve it up on a blackened Bourbon barrel stave. Plus the catamaran load in this boozy Wee Heavy. Nice! Cheers!

Much more subtle maple. I think this is almost perfectly aged. Maybe just a touch overaged with a bare hint of cardboard, but it got that sweetness down perfectly. Cinnamon and vanilla are just right

Yes didn't realize it but this one has aged over a year. Born Sept 2022, Died Dec 2023 Maple still coming through strong, vanilla, cinnamon there, seems less boozy to me. Sweet, strong and delicious
