Let this warm up at least 45 mins. Coffee forward and a TON of barrel that dominates and overpowers the other flavors that are supposed to be in this brown ale. Decent shelf find I guess for the money.

Big coffee bitter. Don’t particularly like. Base beer is not good.

Roasted malts, bittersweet chocolate, robust, creamy with hints of coffee.

This years version is as good and rich. Easy drinking brew. As it warms the complex flavors develop.

Bottled On: 09.18.20 Dark brown; rocky tan head; vanilla; bourbon; oak, hazelnut; weak drip coffee & cocoa; potato; soil; significant alcoholic warmth; moderate bitterness.
