It’s a little thin on mouthfeel (thinner than KBS, I think?), but the flavor is great for a chocolate-lover. 1 — FUDGE!!! 2 — coffee. 3 — easy maple.

There are so many layers to this beer, but each layer has its note to sing. Having had plenty of Mackinac Island Fudge I can say that it tastes just like it.

Very solid...love the fudge chocolate coffee and you get just a little of the maple

If you gave the original KBS a 5 and then you drank this... like what do you do? This is what keeps me up at night

Big heat as I expected for a BA stout bottled 6 weeks ago. Good chocolate and coffee, no maple. Gonna let the rest of the 4-pack simmer for awhile.

Certainly smell fudge on the nose. Not as sweet as expected but with toasty fudge accents. The maple is mostly hidden. 11% abv is not overly apparent. Overall, super solid...but I’m missing the oily/buttery mouthfeel of Bourbon County stouts. 4.15.

Delicious! Lots going on w/ this beer. Chocolate strong w/ hints of maple and coffee. Creamy, rich fudge as it warmed but all of the other flavors also came out and got better as the beer warmed. A very good stout! Great, lingering creamy aftertaste.

Nice flavors, as billed. Heavy on the chocolate. Miss some of the dry barrel I love about KBS, but a solid variant.

Very sweet. Chocolate in the front. Doesn't taste like an imperial.

It’s pretty good.. just wish there was more thick fudge and not coffee..

Vanilla aroma. Dense chocolate flavor but not very sweet. Maple comes out a bit as it warms.
