More burnt coffee and less maple, chocolate, and sweetness than I would like but still probably my favorite of the KBS/CBS beers so far.

The maple comes through first and big. Fudge is also here on the finish. Refined and flavorful. This hits a lot of good notes. Still wonder about the bigger production and distribution but this is a solid brew and is one to seek out.

Excellent KBS variant! The coffee gave the fudge character I thought they used actual fudge, it’s the same chocolate as KBS. Slightly thin malt mouthfeel but full flavored, no aluminum stout taste or soy sauce. Oakey, chocolate and coffee forward!
