The fudge is perfect. Great balance of lots of flavors: coffee, bourbon, maple, fudge!

They kicked some ass with this one. Back to the kbs of old days. Nice coffee flavor with good hints of fudge and maple coming through. Very nice beer

Straight fudge on the nose. Really fantastic as it warms—maple creeps in. I’d put it up there with the Espresso variant.

Rich and thick chocolate mouthfeel/taste. Not super boozy tasting, but packs a wallop. Little sweet and fruity too.

Pure rich fudge on the nose with a hint of coffee. Chocolate shows up in spades on the taste with a more prevalent coffee flavor. The barrel impact is rather subtle, no rich maple like I expected. Ridiculously good. Makes me miss home sweet Michigan!

You had me at the smell. First the coffee smell like you just walked in to your favorite roasters. Then the chocolate smell like you favorite aunt’s fudge.

A: fudgey chocolate, coffee roast and light maple. F: maple, chocolate, sweet roast and coffee. Light ethanol note. Warming but not hot.

Mmmm that nose. Everything i love about coffee (the smell) with some chocolate hazelnut stuff going on. Pours black. I'm not sure id trade cbs for this, but this is damn good.

Personally I don’t get the maple or barrel part of this. But the flavors I am getting are outstanding. This is a must try if you like stouts.
