KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge

Stout - Imperial / Double Coffee

Michigan didn't invent old-fashioned fudge, but it was perfected here. We pay tribute to this time-honored tradition with KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge. By amplifying the rich chocolate notes of KBS using Mackinac Fudge coffee, then adding maple syrup and aging it in oak bourbon barrels, we've created a bold new take on our barrel-aged classic - one that could only have originated in Michigan.

Pure chocolate in aroma and taste, but not overly sweet, light coffee aftertaste. Barrel character is not overpowering.

Maybe the most decadent beer ever. Post trick-or-treat beer so it fits

Oh, this is a decadent sipping dessert beer. Maple sugar around the edges with a deep chocolatey center. Delicious.

Monster dark fudge and coffee nose. More heap of fresh coffee and milk chocolate. Finishes with that typical kbs tobacco coffee finish

Nose is all coffee and fudge. Maple and chocolate come through with the bourbon warming on the finish. Not too boozy and wish it was a bit more viscous. Otherwise not bad.

Decent, but a little too sweet and a little too much coffee. This might be better in a few months.

Really nice stout. Tons of chocolate and fudge with a touch of that sweetness from the maple. Boozy but it fits in nicely with all that chocolate fudge

I have to let it sit for awhile. It tastes really good but the coffee flavor overpowers everything else in the beer
