Lindi M. & I are sharing this as a tonic for our nerves during Game 6. The smell is syrupy sweet, but the flavor is well-balanced with coffee bitterness, fudge sweetness (not chocolate), and maple fudge smoothness (exclusive to maple fudge, not syrup).

This smells amazing. Fresh ground coffee, cocoa powder, vanilla. Flavors are all there taste wise but not as intense.

Very rich, fudge comes through nicely. I like this variant way more than the espresso. 4.3. Good beer for a chilly night

Really digging this take on KBS. That sweet chocolate and coffee really comes through. I only know maple is in it because leaves sticky feeling on the lips. If the barrel came through more this would be A+++

My taste buds still aren’t 100%. Very good coffee flavor, but a tad on the thin side. I can smell a hint of chocolate and maple, but don’t taste either. Thanks John.

I have to put this higher than cbs 18 and 19 in taste. Delicious. Very good maple and choc. Coffee is subtle and not a bitter compared to regular kbs.

Super chocolate, very little residual sweetness from the maple. While this coffee melds very well, for me it makes it more of a one note chocolate bomb.

The maple is present, the chocolate is there. You get the same KBS coffee and vanilla feel. It is so nice to not have a lactose stout.

Maple on the nose. Chocolate/coffee strong. Not a LOT of maple flavor and is thinner than expected. BUT, I dig it.

While this doesn't completely right the wrong of removing CBS from their lineup, its a step in the right direction.
