KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge

Stout - Imperial / Double Coffee

Michigan didn't invent old-fashioned fudge, but it was perfected here. We pay tribute to this time-honored tradition with KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge. By amplifying the rich chocolate notes of KBS using Mackinac Fudge coffee, then adding maple syrup and aging it in oak bourbon barrels, we've created a bold new take on our barrel-aged classic - one that could only have originated in Michigan.

The coffee fudge comes through real good. No maple flavor and a bit thin but overall enjoyable

Dark brew w roasty coffee, chocolate and cream on the nose. The palate has roasty coffee w good mocha notes. The finish has rich dark chocolate w roasty malt. Good.

I had this too long ago to remember exactly. Maple for sure. Chocolate was there but seemed light. Might update rating the next time I have it.

Dikke bak pure chocolade in de geur. Kersenbonbons.

I had to try it again. Second impression was much better. Great after a steak. Clear your pallet before drinking. It’s a stand alone. Tons of flavor. But KBS original is still my favorite.

A gooey chocolate nose with a hint of sweet maple. Hefty chocolate body with subtle underpinnings of maple. Big, bold, and boozy.

Uber sweet, yes it is definitely fudge like and you can get the bourbon and maple and coffee. This is a digistif for sure. No need for the German chocolate cake after dinner here. Prost!
