KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge

Stout - Imperial / Double Coffee

Michigan didn't invent old-fashioned fudge, but it was perfected here. We pay tribute to this time-honored tradition with KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge. By amplifying the rich chocolate notes of KBS using Mackinac Fudge coffee, then adding maple syrup and aging it in oak bourbon barrels, we've created a bold new take on our barrel-aged classic - one that could only have originated in Michigan.

Heavy fudge upfront, mild espresso & maple on the backend, sweet, missing a lot of barrel character

So close to a 4.5! If the flavor was a little stronger and lingered a bit longer.. I taste Fudgesicle, even the wooden stick, only as a Oak Stave with some Maple. Really nice stuff though for being such a big name an all.

Sweet, fudgy with just a hint of maple. May let this sit a bit to mellow out the booziness, but a solid start!

Gotta let this one warm up. When it was cold all I could taste was coffee. Once warm other adjuncts were coming thru. Does not taste boozy at all.

Very strong black fresh roasted coffee on the nose and follows through on first sip. I get a dark chocolate sweetness on the back. Seems like a faint natural maple tinge if any. Body is thin, could do with with a bit more viscosity. Overall a 👍

Well that’s just liquid fudge, some might call it a less viscous Nesquik. Maybe I like it?

Incredible stout! Can't really taste the maple as it is hidden behind the coffee and chocolate (mainly the coffee). But the overall flavor is very heavy in an outstanding way. I highly encourage stout fans to give this beast a go!
