A smooth ale but a bit too syrupy sweet for me. (Logical sense it's brewed with molasses and aged in maple syrup barrels.) Has a little bite of bitterness on the end but it's not enough to cut the warm sugaryness.

Dark brown color. Smells malty, sweet, brown sugar, molasses. Rich, robust, w/ molasses, caramel, brown sugar, orange peel. Pretty good.

Need to try a few more of these. Complex. Boozy. Not an overpowering BB flavor which is good.

See 2018- Super sweet from maple syrup and boozy from the bourbon.

Strong bourbon flavor with very sweet taste from maple syrup. Interesting combination.
