Barrel Aged Advent Calendar Day #15. Super sweet aroma (as expected). I'm getting maple syrup and molasses right up front with bourbon following close behind. Taste has molasses first, followed by bourbon and maple syrup, with oak in the finish. 4.5/5

I was so stoked to come across this at the store! Bottled in 2018. Super smooth and not too sweet. Notes of maple and carmel. Banger!

Amazing beer, similar to old stock ale but better. Like drinking pancakes. Very sweet.

Old Ale, gerijpt in Maple Syrup Bourbon barrels. Heel zacht, kruidig, verwarmend, vanille, hout, Bourbon, zoetig, Maple syrup, boozy. Erg smakelijke knaller van 12,7%!

Wow, very intense - lots of flavor going on - maple, vanilla and bourbon flavors. Very long finish. This is a beer I have to be in the mood for- and today it really hits the spot.

Syrupy malty goodness, so sweet it makes my teeth hurt. But in a good day. Tasty in small sips.

This is my kind of beer big and dark and complex. Lots of flavors going on here. The only issue is it’s a bit sweet. I bet this would be amazing with a little cellaring.
