KBS Spicy Chocolate (2023) Ferguson II
The chilies are more in the flavor than heat. Super slight amount of heat. Decent chocolate flavor, noticeable coffee. Bourbon and oak are both present. Not my favorite variant, but it's tasty. 4/5

Wake Up World Wide Stout (2022) Ferguson II
I decided to revisit this. I wasn't a huge fan the first time. Coffee, cinnamon and maple syrup in the aroma. Taste has maple syrup and cinnamon first with coffee in the mid-palate and finish. Still quite bitter. Eh, oh well. Still a 3.75/5 for me.

The Headless Gourdsman Ferguson II
Pumpkin and maple syrup in the aroma. There's no pumpkin in this, but they did a good job combining the spices. Taste has a nice pumpkin pie flavor to start, immediately followed by maple syrup and light bourbon in the finish. Med-full body, low carb. 4

Coffee, blueberry, chocolate, oak and light bourbon in the aroma. Taste has everything at once: coffee, blueberry, chocolate, bourbon and oak seem to all be there right away with no one flavor dominating. Medium-full body with lower carbonation. 4.25/5

Lime aroma. Taste has a good lime flavor that has the perfect amount of tartness to make it very refreshing. The tequila from the barrel aging is noticeable without dominating. Might be a new summer beer for me. Can't quite give it a 4, but high 3.75/5

Wheat and maple syrup stand out the most in the aroma with bourbon following. Taste has wheat, maple syrup, bourbon, caramel notes, oak towards the finish. Slight alcohol burn after swallowing. Full body, low carbonation. Nice beer. 4.25/5

A bit vanilla-heavy, but the aroma is French toast. Taste has much of the same. A bit more vanilla than I remember the mothership release having, but it tastes like bourbon dipped French toast. The body is medium-full with medium-low carbonation. 4.5/5

Nice mango aroma with a noticeable habanero aroma following. Taste has mango up front with the habanero showing up in the late mid-palate and leaving a slight burning sensation in the throat. First time I've had this fresh. Definitely an enjoyable beer

Coffee, bourbon, chocolate and faint maple syrup in the aroma. Taste has coffee, chocolate, mellow bourbon and maple syrup. This is drinking beautifully after 3.5 years. I hope my remaining bottles are the same when I get to them. High 4.5/5

A gusher...always a fun start. Sweet aroma with notes of banana and cloves. Taste has banana, cloves and a sweetness I can't pinpoint. Tasty flavor overall. The body is medium+ with a lower amount of carbonation. I'll forgive the gushing. High 3.75/5

Smells like a slightly lighter version of regular World Wide Stout. Taste has much of the same. It tastes like regular World Wide Stout, but less boozy. The body is medium-full with a lower amount of carbonation. High 4 5/5

Bourbon, oak, vanilla and caramel in the taste. Almost medium-full body with an appropriately lower amount of carbonation. Always a treat every time and I now have a 5 year vertical that I'll continue to build.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge Ferguson II
Huge fudge in the aroma. Coffee and chocolate as well. Taste has coffee, fudge and chocolate with the bourbon and oak coming through in the finish. Definitely my favorite KBS variant. The additional fudge flavor puts this slightly above CBS. 4.75/5

Taste has marshmallow, chocolate and graham crackers, as expected. None of the flavors are super prominent, but they're there. I'm not getting any cinnamon or vanilla, as advertised on the bottle. Aftertaste is a s'more. Solid beer. 3.75/5

Coffee, chocolate fudge and light bourbon in the aroma. Taste has chocolate fudge, coffee, bourbon and oak. The bourbon and oak linger in the aftertaste. This is delicious. I'm gonna try this next to Breakfast Stout, CBS, KBS and KBS Espresso. 4.5/5
