“Aged on charred oak bourbon barrels from Heaven Hill Distillery. This variety of World Wide Stout is dark, rich, roasty and complex, balancing notes of coffee & licorice with carmely, smooth finish of bourbon.” Bourbon deliciousness!

Solid af. Exactly what you would expect from this style and this brewery.

Bottled Nov 1/19. Rich and full without being viscous - bourbon booziness with layers of caramel, vanilla, dates, molasses and soft notes of cocoa and coffee. Wonderful warming 6 oz bomb (split 2 ways) - you’re a monster if you consume alone.

Have the OG, have the BA variety, the spirits of party demand it. A chill St. Pat's for me, but with work on the morrow, restraint is called for. Headier barrel notes than the OG, and a tad more abrasive, but delivers on point.

Trying next to Wake Up, Utopias, BB version. 4.33 years later & this is super smooth now. Boozy chocolate smooth bourbon coffee. It's equal to Utopias. Ages very very well.

The very warming B BA is almost overpowering the base stout flavour

Four years of aging brought out so much more of bourbon. I highly recommend this level of patience to achieve this level of boozy deliciousness!

Might be on the top 2-3 list of my favorite beers for Imperial Barrel Aged Stouts. Over 17% ABV! Cherry chocolate coffee favored sherry. Amazingly complex. A great dessert beer. Highly recommended. Oh and did I say strong!

Sweet chocolate aroma. Sweet, slight chocolate and molasses notes. Boozy finish, but no burn. Always good.
