KBS Spicy Chocolate (2023) Schmidt

Chocolate, coffee, vanilla and spicy taste highlight this Barrel-Aged Stout. I’m not a peppery beer guy but it works. Typical KBS Stout to start so that’s a good thing. Hides the ABV a bit.

World Wide Stout - Bourbon Barrel Aged Schmidt

Might be on the top 2-3 list of my favorite beers for Imperial Barrel Aged Stouts. Over 17% ABV! Cherry chocolate coffee favored sherry. Amazingly complex. A great dessert beer. Highly recommended. Oh and did I say strong!

Pretty good for a chilly night but not for eating a meal with. Lol Kinda like a dessert beer. I like a little more subtle in my flavors. Don’t want it to overpower a freshly nice beer. Just a bit to tart for me.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge Schmidt

Again another great stout but the Maple Mackinac Fudge flavor would leave me drinking it as a one and done beer. Kinda like a dessert beer. Tasty though.
