Sweet... roasted malt, chocolate, sweetness and some bitterness. The flavor is... sweet fruity... berry... chocolate, sweetness and some roasted malt. Balanced. Tasty. Guaranteed Founders quality.

Desert beer heavy on the Raspberry and Chocolate.stout based 7.8% not a bad nitecap or served with a Raspberry or Cherry pie.

Pours like used motor oil. Darkest head I've ever seen. Sooooo rich. Dark chocolate for days and nice raspberry notes. Should have tried it fresh out of the tap instead of a growler.

Tastes a bit like cough syrup. And not that delicious purple stuff. Glad i tried it, but not a new favorite
