🇩🇰 Smooth fruity and piney hoppy nose. The flavor is easier… a bit thin… piney hoppy, mild bitterness… a bit of a letdown.

From RB. Cherries, sourness, acidity, vinegar and some red berries in the aroma. The flavor is dry red berries, cherries, tartness, sourness and mild acidity. Rather drinkable for a such sour and acidic brew. Tasty.

2008 vintage. Seems to be bottled on Christmas eve 2008. Very tart and sour aroma with lots of vinegar and musty notes. The flavor is acidic, tart, sour and musty. Very strong and distinctive flavor. A great beverage.

Dark Penance (2014) Rosenberg

From RB. Sweetness, roasted malt, mild alcohol and hoppy bitterness in the aroma. The flavor is very strong and bitter hops, alcohol and some roasted malt. Very bitter indeed. Too strong to be enjoyable Black IPA.

From BR. Sweet hops, toffee, alcohol, sweet mango and candle wax in the aroma. Sweet malt, sweet mango and mild hops in the flavor. Not much bitterness to talk about. Strong. Warms. A bit too sweet to be really enjoyable.

From RB. Bottled on 25 Aug 2008. Sour fruity aroma with Belgian yeast, leather and mild touch of fruity sweetness. Flavour is very Lambic-y sour, tart and berry. Very tart berriness. Tart and sour aftertaste.

Viola Sofia 2011 (Kunstner Øl No. 2) Rosenberg

From RB. Roasted malt, coffee, chocolate and mild sweetness in aroma. But the flavor is the experience. Smooth and complex. Roasted malt, vinous notes, coffee, chocolate, some hoppy bitterness and creamy sweetness. Satisfying. Heavy. Rich.

Single Hop Summit IPA Rosenberg

From RB. Aroma is hoppy with floral and fruity elements. No bitterness. Flavor is surprisingly malty with good amount of hoppiness. Kind of dark hoppiness with fruits, resin and grapefruit. Moderate bitterness.

Single Hop Apollo IPA Rosenberg

From RB. Resiny hops, mild sweetness and malt in aroma. Flavor is... the hoppiness is quite mild with resin and fruits. No real bitterness. Apollo is not my new favorite hop variety. It’s not bad.

Weizenbock Rosenberg

From RB. Sweet fruitiness, yeast and wheat in aroma. Flavor is very yeasty with alcohol. Some fruity sweetness and wheat. I don’t know... maybe this is the Weizenbock I would like to drink again. The label can’t be much uglier.

1000 IBU Ultramate Rosenberg

From RB. At the Bishop’s Arms, Copenhagen, Denmark as Mikkeller 1 000 IBU Light. Orange, passion fruit, pineapple and caramel malt in delicious aroma. Flavor is bitter. Grapefruity and resiny hops and some balancing biscuity and caramel maltiness.

RB. Intriguing aroma of fruits, lemongrass, dill (not fresh but dill flavored potato chips like dill) and mild maltiness. Great aroma! Flavor is milder. Some fruity hops, not much bitterness and malty body. Aroma is divine but flavor is a bit letting down

From RB. Exotic fruits, moderate bitterness, mild yeast and malt in tempting aroma. Flavor is a bit more simple. Nice bitterness, exotic fruits and malt. Short fruity bitterish aftertaste.
