Thanks Mikey. Nice one to hold back. 3+years on this one did it some favors. Low carbonation. Nice and smooth with maple softening the bourbon. Bourbon wakes up as it warms.

Amazing beer absolutely perfect. How all stouts should taste.

Pulled this old bottle from back shelf. It's lost some maple, but still a very good drink.

Really aged well, mostly caramel as opposed to maple, do the sweetness. Nice coffee coming through as well.

Adjuncts have mellowed and blended, but in a good way. Interesting cola undertone, but chocolate-y goodness throughout.

In remembrance of the Greggster. An amazing friend, who won't be forgotten.

Black pour, bubbly mocha colored head. Big maple, ash, chocolate.. complex. Barrel is present, but not overbearing. 11.7 abv is nonexistent.

Smooth and delicious! Lots of coffee notes. It’s cloying sweet.

I think it’s smoother, but I’m not getting any of the maple.

My “remembering the BBTE” beer. Thanks for sharing one of the last of the Mounties! Still an awesome beer, 3 years later. Ironically...just did some advertising for an RCMP demo today. Great acting Laine S.! Watch out Hollywood......

Had this in the beer cellar for 3 years. It was muted. No maple flavours, it was big on the barrel flavours. Better aged for a while.
