Super flavorful. Lots of maple flavor. Thicker than a normal bourbon barrel stout. Would definitely have again.

Has aged fairly well, not boozy at all. Chocolate notes very pronounced. Smooth, good legs.

A over hype beer that people go crazy over for some weird reason. Its good to try once.

The booze and coffee flavors have completely mellowed thus all you get this is the maple and chocolate

Had this in the beer cellar for 3 years. It was muted. No maple flavours, it was big on the barrel flavours. Better aged for a while.

Points for nostalgia, and it’s still a pretty decent brew, but this isn’t what it once was and just doesn’t hold up in today’s stout game.

Underwhelming if I’m being honest. Maple is very subtle, beer is rather thin, and it just seems to be lacking complexity …. Maybe it’s the age? Maybe it just doesn’t compete with today’s BA offerings…🤷♂️

Light and a little watery for a coffee stout this strong, but otherwise it’s just a right down the straight and narrow slightly coffee stout.

No too strong for an imperial. Good bourbon flavor. Not sure I can drink much of this. DH likes it. Just a hint of maple syrup, but it isn't too sweet.

Really sad to be breaking this open but hot damn worth the wait. Utterly delicious. Sweet and caramel, coffee on the back
