Still has a frothy full bodied mouth feel on the front end and a great balance of bourbon on the back end - not much bitterness. This one aged very, very well

Packing up our Los Angeles apartment! 2015 bought in Minneapolis. It’s held up very nice for a 6 year old beer! Skol.

For a beer probably long over aged, it’s pretty damn good! Coffee still really alive in this one. Maple notes too.

Got as an freebee in a trade, not sure if it was kept bad, just aged poorly, or a little of both.. maybe I just don’t like KBS.. but I didn’t enjoy this.

Roasted coffee, chocolate fudge center, and a bourbon finish. Doesn't get much better.

The time has put this on the watery side, coffee all but gone but still plenty of chocolate and oak notes and nasal booze burn.
