Porter (2014)

Porter - American

Pours silky black with a creamy tan head. The nose is sweet with strong chocolate and caramel malt presence. No absence of hops gives Founders' robust porter the full flavor you deserve and expect. Cozy like velvet. It’s a lover, not a fighter.

It lost a great deal of flavor over time.

FLN. 3/13/14 bottle from the stash. Held up incredibly well with some roasted malt, fig, brown sugar, bitter hops, coffee, almonds, licorice, plum, and cola. Unbelievably smooth, and crushable. 4.4

Found in the cellar. Way past prime. Hasn't gone bad but little flavor left.

Tasting pretty darn good after 6 years. Just a touch of oxidation. Still nice and roasty.
