This beer is not chocolatey. It doesn’t taste like maple. Apparently, Mackinac Fudge is a coffee they used. Who knew? I don’t love coffee stouts, that said, this stout is very good. Not worth going out of your way for, but very good.

Delightful - fudgy goodness all around. I just love how the bare hint of maple comes in as a complement to the chocolate richness. Winner of the flight by a nose over the espresso, this is luscious and silky where the espresso oozes overt braggadocio.

101420 LCI- IMO, leading the pack of recent variants. Dominant fudge with a gentle underpinning of bourbon and oak, maple is lost in translation.
