Got a lot of the fudge on the nose. Get fudge and coffee on the front with a slight bourbon finish. Pretty balanced and smooth

I see great ratings for this one, but I feel like it needs to age out. My bottle was very syrupy, no bourbon or wood to be found

Delicious. Dusty cocoa-y fudge (not too sweet) with a dash of espresso and maple. Haven't been this impressed since old school breakfast stout.

What's not to like here? Fully flavored with chocolate on the nose and palate, creamy and smooth, and coffee (& some bitter?) at the finish. Not "sweet", either - maple and barrel do not stand out.

Pours like petroleum. Amazing nose of pure dark chocolate fudge. All the good things and a powerful long finish. Notes intertwining in the background.

The KBS varietal is really fantastic. The sweet maple balances out the coffee nicely.
