You really get the fudge, the coffee and the smoothness all from an 11%abv brew!?! Founders makes some good stouts, but this one is one of the finer ones they make IMO.

Muito chocolate amargo. Maple mto discreto. Bourbon e madeira quase não aparecem. Corpo medio

Not getting much maple or sweetness. A little bitter for me likes. Strong coffee notes

10.15.20 0051 6. Aroma strongly leads with fudge and maybe a tiny hint of maple. Super smooth, no alcohol burn. Flavor has a little roast and little to no maple & barrel. Lingering cocoa powder flavor with slight sweetness. Tasty but I prefer KBS OG.

Roasty - maple and barrel are fairly subtle. Not too thick.

Not as Dee of chocolate flavor that I prefer. Seemed a bit thin. Perhaps I’m just drinking big bodied beers.

Beer advent day 18. Super decadent, like a liquid brownie. Finish is almost too cloyingly sweet.

flavors were all there but subtle. Loved the coffee used...it just needed more body to be as decadent as advertised 4.1

Hmmm.. kinda shortish body. Very nice fudge but also strong coffee all around among the chocolate. Almost great but falls short of the other kbs's for me.

Fudge combines nicely with classic kbs notes. At the same time though this is sort of perfect example of adding and getting less. Ok, well, the end result is still great but doesnt match kbs.

Sweet but the bitterness of the chocolate balances it out. Very nice!
