Strong chocolate aroma with a little roasty coffee ness and a hint of strong, but sweet alcohol. Chocolate and caramel flavor with a little bourbon in the finish. Mild bitterness and a very rich mouthfeel.

There is no mistake that this is a strong brew. Dark, chocolate, thick, semi-sweet. More fudge than maple. Definitely a dessert beer. Not overly sweet, but best for sipping slowly.

Light cannot penetrate its thick, dark shade. Tootsie roll / fudge nose. Heavy sweet mouthfeel, intense fudgy chocolate notes, then more of the malt roast and coffee, then a chocolate bourbon finish. Happy Michigan Statehood Day!

Amai wat is dit man. Een heel aparte smaakbeleving! Mokka-ijs indd, de maple komt zeer hard door, zelfs wat wrang maar zo zalig. Romig ook, plakkerige kandij en Karamelsnoep. Zacht eikenhout en maple in de afdronk. Damn
