The maple flavor is good, but the coffee flavor has gone putrid.

I would rarely ever want my own glass of this, and would certainly never want a second one, but this is a very sweet, very good beer.

Another one that came from Brusin’ Ales, way back when. Not very subtle, tons of coffee with some maple syrup notes

4 years old, and way better than I remember. Flavor (especially the Maple sweetness) mellowed out significantly.

Aged 4 years. Complex nose of maple, burbon and coffee. Pours ebony black with a foamy cafe au lait. Flavors are subdued from the aging. Sweet burbon forward with Maple thru the middle. The heat from the ABV comes late. Smooth creamy mouthfeel.

La perfezione di Imperial stout in bottiglia. Al naso caffè, liquerizia e cioccolato. In bocca sembra cioccolato al latte liquido. Corpo pieno, alcool si sente. Vaniglia che emerge al salire della temperatura. Commovente, perfetto dopo-pasto natalizio

I feel like the 17 was better than this year's version. 17 has more Maple.Meanwhile, this has no Chocolate and a solid Base Stout. Each of them has their perks and their downsides.Still quite tasty and a great Stout to begin the Evening! Merry Christmas!

Not overly sweet, very smooth, toasty, some mapleness. Very good.

Kaffet har fadeat utan att lämna efter sig någon grönpeppar. Choklad, rostat, lite kaffe, gräs. Mindre söt än jag minns den. Men kan vara att man blivit avtrubbad av modern pastry.
