The maple has taken more a a backseat to the coffee, chocolate, roasted cocoa beans and barrel. Subtle sweetness. Aged well. Still a great brew.

What better way to both celebrate the end of a long worm day, and the start of a long delayed vacation that will include a lot of beer drinking? (And finally find an excuse to crack open one of these?)

Kahvia on mutta kevyemmin kuin saman vuosikerran KBS:ssä. Suklaisuutta löytyy ja vaahterasiirappia myös, joka ei ole kuitenkaan niin selkeä kuin muissa maistamissani vuosikerroissa. Todella tasapainoinen kuten CBS aina.

Still, of course, a great beer! But this one is definitely not on par with 2017. Finishes a little too thin, and not boozy enough, for me to give it more than 4.25.
