Somehow seems mellowed out and intensified at the same time. The coffee is more up front and the maple has some added molasses notes but the sweeter notes are also lighter and almost fruitier so it doesn't drink heavy at all

This has an almost nitro like smoothness with a bit of age on it and the flavors have mellowed quite a bit. Haven't known a KBS to age quite like this before

No idea how old this bottle was. I know it originated in State College, and I know its old enough to lose pretty much all of its hops. This drinks practically like brandy

Still the king. Not technically a KBS variant, but if it was it would be the best by far. Absolutely perfectly balanced.

The cinnamon is a little hot right after the smooth basic KBS but you still need to to balance the sweetness. Bottom of the pile but its a very good pile
