Wow! BBA beers are usually hard for me, as I don't really care for the boozy taste. This is nice. I don't even mind the maple.

Not bad, not great, a touch of maple but a good porter that’s not boozy

A bit more than a kiss of maple syrup, this is a sloppy frenching.

Too sweet. Great vanilla and chocolate. Don't get the maple. I'd prefer a thinned out 12% version for a porter.

Jet black, big creamy tan head, monster sheet lacing; aroma/taste-chocolate, vanilla, roasty w/bourbon & maple hints; smooth 'n sweet, almost creamy; nice dry, dark chocolate-bitter finish.

This is pretty good, I’m enjoying it quite a bit. Being a porter it’s obviously lighter and not as chewy as a stout. Vanilla right off the bat and the maple syrup is there but not a fake condensed version. The barrel is the most lacking actually

Nice, light vanilla. Maple and bourbon play really well.

Nose is all chocolate and vanilla. Medium-full body and mouthfeel. Palate is chocolate-covered marshmallow. Barrel presence is very minimal, but contributes a slight earthy, smokiness to a chocolate & vanilla porter with maple notes. Solid.

Good but first time I’ve been disappointed by BA Founders dark beer. Typically this is 4.5+

The maple, vanilla, and bourbon are all very subtle; very sweet. The finish is sort of woodsy. Doesn’t do any one thing well, but the sum of its parts is solid.

Lived up to the hype . Really nice subtle hints of vanilla and smooth drinking.

Not a ton going on here. There is a woody barrel. The vanilla comes through after a bit of warming. Nice mouthfeel. Very slight maple better let this one warm up.

Awwwwww. It's a cute widdle panther cub waiting to pounce and eat you! Or stare into your soul. Meow. A delicious beer.

Strong barrel note! Subtle maple and vanilla compliment the dark chocolate and coffee malts. Well done.

The vanilla extract really ruins this. Why didn’t they use actual vanilla bean?

Forgot this from a while back. Strong barrel presence isn’t my thing anymore.

Tastes as stated. Just wish the Nilla were real and not extract because you can tell it's artificial.
