Love Founders barrel aged brews. This one had been sitting just long enough to mellow the bourbon and alcohol. A great roasty balance of maple, vanilla, chocolate, coffee, dark malts and sweet bourbon. Very solid!

Smells bourbon maple syrup & vanilla beans, tastes similar w/ a lingering burnt toast flavor, finishes smooth w/ notes of cocoa nib & espresso at the boozy tail. This has a complex profile & delivers a delicate balance only those Founders fuckers could do

KBS flavours all the way. Wel iets dunner ivm porter maar nog steeds de gebrande mouten en koffie. Vanille komt goed naar voren. Maple zorgt voor het zoetje wat de KBS minder heeft. Barrel komt ook harder door dan de KBS. Top porter👌

Advent Calendar Day 1: 12.1.2021. Bottled 1.29.21. Sweet boozy nose. Great mouthfeel. Sweet. Not as boozy as expected. Great balance of bourbon, vanilla, & maple syrup. A delicious nightcap desert beer!
