Blushing Monk

Fruit Beer

Blushing Monk is brewed with a ridiculous amount of raspberries and with a Belgian yeast strain that keeps our head cellar operator from sleeping for a week. It pours a stunning deep berry red and, at 9.2% ABV, has a surprising kick. The perfect dessert beer, it can be enjoyed on its own or paired with fresh cheeses, fruit, cakes and more.

Not my favorite. A little too sweet and too much raspberry.

I tasted this one. But Liz finished it off. I moved on to something else. Too tart for me.

Good to split. Definitely wouldn’t want to drink a bottle myself. Good. 🍻🎉

Tart berry aromas with an obvious raspberry body. Light and very sweet. Finishes very juicy.

Was expecting more of a Belgian taste. Just like raspberry jam. Others will probably appreciate it more than I

So raspberry in flavour "nice" just enough tartness to take off the sweetness from the Fruit , touch of pine needles , hints of pepper , slightly sour but not to much .

Fruity & Tart! A beautiful Christmas red color. Or should I say a beautiful Advent rose to celebrate Gaudete' Sunday? Let's go with that! (I'm sure you all listened in church yesterday.) A religious experience!

A risky buy that paid off. Loaded with raspberries, I thought this could be the “rosee” of beers...or off the charts fruity and sour. Was a bit sour but the Belgian ale and overall booziness saved it. Like drinking lightly sour port. Paired w hard cheese.

That's a lot of raspberry. Can't really taste the belgian flavors. Its great if you love raspberry. Otherwise kinda taste like cough syrup. But I don't hate it.

Instead of posting a photo of the beer, I chose to showcase the package it came in. What a ride! Thank you, KingofIan.

Very fruity beer, almost to the point of making it one-note. Wished that there was more complexity. 🤷🏼‍♂️
