Decent barleywine but I could do without the bitterness.

Aggro American style! Pretty dense caramel & licorice-molasses malt, railed by juicy, bitter and resinous American hops. A modern Bigfoot.

Don't remember it being so boozy. Funny how different the same beer can taste depending...

I’m going to hang on to a couple to see what age does for them.

They're not kidding. That's quite bitter. That's seems to be the intent so👍 I just personally enjoy barleywine heavier on sweetness and malt. Maltiness is enjoyable.

Gotta hand it to Founders, this is hands down one of the best Barleywine I’ve had, boozy, but drinkable

A barleywine style ale is not a barleywine. 11.2% tastes like a hoppy malt liquor with some malty notes. It’s just ok. I do not recommend.

This is a truly unique and Crushable barley wine. Nothing like I've ever had.

This is uh, interesting. I didn't read the label before I opened it and was expecting an IPA for some reason. Barleywines are an acquired taste and 11% has some bite

Way, way better than it’s rated. Thanks Mark Cain!!!

Definitely the full hop bite of an American style BW, but not bad.
