Tastes more like a scotch ale than a barley wine to me, but it's awesome

Very nice. Malt and smoothness up front. Tart cherry and mild bitterness after. A great beer!

A beer brewed for architects. Taste the aesthetics.

Een barley wine die niet al té zoet is, verassend!

Decent, but it would be better for me with a little less hop.

Grappig. Ziltig, ietsje straf, roasted/koffie, moutig. Eigenlijk smaakt deze Brandewijn dus gewoon als een iets zoetere Russian Imperial Stout. Wel een dikke prima versie daarvan overigens 🤣😉🍻👍🏻

Mr. Liquid Bread

A BW right out of the gate tonight!! This BW is darker than I would expect, and the taste explains it all. A lot more toasty tasting, roasted malts mostly dominate this beer. A nice rendition that's a little bit different than the typical BW.

Big and boozy beer. Definitely hoppy as advertised and the abv is apparent. Seems more like a strong ale than a barleywine

Strong, yet smooth and subtle. Bouquet of barely. Good barely wine but will knock you on your ass.

Well made, but not for me. Did not review the IBUs. Too high for me, with grapefruit finish.

Dark roasty malt, bitter in the whole mouth and strong one. Barleywine taste and hint of coffee. Good for digest after a BBQ

Nice and malty to start and then lots of bitter hops to finish. Not super Belgiany, but a descent beer none the less.
