Bitter on the backend, a little hoppy, but really smooth and enough malt to be the predominant flavor. Could do a lot worse.

Presque sec pour le style. Plus de malts torréfiés que de moût bouilli. Y a du houblon en tout cas c'est bien amer. Pas mon équilibre.

This tastes like someone mixed a barleywine with an extremely bitter, hoppy west coast IPA. Three years later and it hasn’t gotten any better. Will probably be a drain pour.

Not near as thick as most barleywine's I've tried in the past. For me that's a plus. Very malty with a strong biter after bite. Nothing special about this one to me. Buy a single, if you can.

Some styles don’t need extra hops. Going to age the rest & see if these hops mellow out some. Doesn’t really drink like a barleywine.

When did Barleywines get hijacked. This is entirely too much hops for the category. Call it what it is. A quadruple IPA. Anything other than barleywine. Because this ain’t it. It’s Founders and it’s good. Just not in my wheelhouse.

Somewhat boozy, very malty, almost a chocolate note. Not overly hoppy. Pretty decent.

A far cry from 2009 which was the best of the two Nemesis years. High hopes but really disappointed.

Very high abv not much of barley wineness I was looking for but good. I not expert of course but have had better homemade I think

WEIRD. It smells so good I’d wear it behind my ears. But it’s got a BIG bitter finish.

Pretty good beer…if I liked barley wine but that isn’t really my style. Definitely great smooth flavor up front. Finish is a bit bitter for me though.

Definitely hoppy. Maybe a little too much for me. Leaves it bitter on the back end.

Good smell. Very strong beer. Probably the best Barleywine I have had but too strong for me.
